The (ring toss) game within the game
This a weekly newsletter about the greatest reality show of all-time (The Bachelor is trash). Don’t worry if you haven’t watched every single one of the previous 39 seasons (neither have I). In fact, this newsletter is more geared towards the casual fan. If this is your first time here, subscribe below.
A quick note before we get started: I’ve decided to publish these on the same day as new episodes. First, it allows me to procrastinate more, but most importantly, it will give us a little refresher before diving into the next week. Now let’s get pumped for tonight!
Watching Rob run the game last week, all while hold court at the ring toss game, was truly amazing to watch.
He commands the room with such force. Honestly, the U.S. should send him to the next G7 to see how well he negotiates with foreign heads of state.
Rob likes to say that if these players were any good, they would voted him out first. At first glance, this appears to make sense. The problem with that however, is that it absolutely has to be a group effort. If one person leads the charge, gets credited with taking out Rob, they would immediately become a target themselves. Whoever does it, will pretend like they had nothing to do with it until the Final 3.
I personally don’t think he’ll last much longer. Personally, as soon as he gets to Extinction Island, I hope he and Amber say, “screw this” and go home to their daughters.
Random Thoughts on Week 2
I’m obsessed with the ring toss game they set up. I’ve never seen that on Survivor, but let me know if I’m mistaken. Once at a house party in college, my friends started to worry after not seeing me for an hour or so. I was just downstairs playing this game by myself.
For my 30th birthday last week, my girlfriend threw me a surprise Survivor themed party. To be honest, I was blind-sided. I did not see it coming at all. This does not bode well for my own Survivor aspirations.
